Fantastic place with amazing food. We stay here often. Rooms are very comfortable with modern amenities and were cleaned daily. Staff were friendly and the owners were great hosts! Saw a review below of some serious accusations from guests. We were actually present at the same time and were surprised at how the guests treated the lodge and it’s staff. Obviously disgruntled guests that didn’t get their way after they were caught with more people in the room then they booked for. Had I been the owner I definitely would not have reacted that calm as they were extremely rude to all the staff on the property and very demanding and should have been asked to leave the property. They were the ones swearing in front of their own children not the lodge staff/owners. Will gladly keep returning to skylight!

Had to spend a few night in Harrismith because of car troubles. The owners at Skylight lodge were so kind and accommodating. Had a room immediately and kept the room checked out for me in case I needed to stay on. Had a great homecooked meal at the restaurant. They even let me borrow their car. So grateful for people who go the extra mile. Thanks so much
